When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece. John Ruskin
Cathy Kert, co-owner of Beckonings, earned a degree in physical therapy at Northeastern University in 1985. After moving to southern California, she began to study interior design at Santa Monica Community College. She then moved back to New Hampshire and began raising a family with her husband, Charlie, while also mentoring with two well-respected interior designers and taking courses offered by affiliated organizations. Cathy enjoys combining her physical therapy and interior design skills to create interiors that are beautiful, comfortable and ergonomically functional for her clients. She works within a broad range of budgets, and specializes in window treatments, hanging artwork, accessories and the use of silk botanicals. Cathy is an allied member of ASID and a member in good standing of both IFDA and WCAA. She is also the ASID newsletter editor for the New England region. She and Charlie now have four children and several pets.
Cheryl Fyfe is a graduate of the New Hampshire Art Institute program in interior design, and has been designing living and working spaces for nearly 10 years.
