About Beckonings
Too much of a good thing Mae West
In 1992, two friends combined their similar tastes and complimentary talents to open Beckonings, a showroom and shop dedicated to providing beautiful “designs for living and giving.” After five successful years together, the store was bursting at the seams, and the interior design and furnishings side of the business spun back off as a separate entity. With some more space available, owner Eileen Beckhardt Freedman expanded many of the accessories, gift, and tableware lines Beckonings offers, and has continued to add new and interesting lines she knows her clientele will love, including artsy wearables, more Judaica, and a profusion of eclectic personal and gift items.
Our Current Hours Are:Tuesday thru Saturday: 9 am to 6 pmThursday Nights: Until 8 pmAt Beckonings, we also try to make a difference in the community, and support several area non-profits, including Marguerite’s Place, the Nashua Pastoral Care Center, the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter, and Home Health and Hospice Care. We encourage you to support these organizations, too, in any way you can. Of course, we also participate with organizations dedicated to keeping Nashua and its downtown vibrant. You can always count on Beckonings to be a part of the Winter Holiday Stroll and the Taste of Downtown Nashua, and these events are a great excuse for you to come visit us!
